Aloo Parathas

Ingredients

Wholemeal flour

Potatoes

Onions

Cumin seeds

Chilli

Garam masala powder
Fresh ginger
Salt
Coriander
Methi (fenugreek)

Boil the potatoes and mash them in a large bowl. Add the chopped onions, herbs and spices and mix. Put flour in a large mixing bowl. Add water gradually and knead into a soft dough. Separate into balls and roll them out into circles. Add a spoonful of potato filling in-between two circles and roll them into round parathas. Heat butter in a frying pan and cook the paratha on both sides.

Butter dice to melt on the parathas

Mango pickle (achar)

Natural yogurt
